Family ties, lies, secrets, and the treachery of old New Orleans aristocracy boil over in Hot Jambalaya, an exciting new murder musical comedy from Dad’s Garage!
When Papa Joe “Sewer King” Van Horn takes a fatal spill from a French Quarter balcony, his eccentric family, friends, and professional associates gather for his funeral aboard the aging steamboat Fleur de Lis only to make a series of startling discoveries: Papa Joe was murdered, every single person present wanted him dead, and the killer intends to strike again!
Road Trip

Road Trip is a completely improvised show based on real stories featuring a rotating cast of some of the best improvisers + storytellers in ATL. Sean Patton, the featured storyteller, has been seen on Conan, Comedy Central, Late Night, and more! You may have recently seen him as the PE Teacher in FX's show "English Teacher." We cannot wait for our night to be inspired by his hilarious stories.
Classes
Adult Classes On Sale!
Our classes are accessible to all levels of improv performance as well as writing, directing, and general performance skills! In addition to the topics covered in each class, students get free tickets to most Dad’s Garage shows and a chance to show what they’ve learned in a Grad Show at the end of each session.
The Dad’s Garage Lobby opens one hour before the show for all patrons. If you purchased tickets ahead of time, skip the Box Office line and present your mobile tickets linked in your confirmation email to our ticket scanner. If you prefer, you may still pick up your ticket(s) at the Box Office.
Be sure to grab a drink at our Bar!
